I'll definitely be trying both, I love this kind of management sim, and I was a fan of TT in my youth. This time around, it's more of a competitor against Cities XXL, where the earlier games were spin-offs of Transport Tycoon (funnily enough that game exists to this day). On the other hand, Cities: Skylines is not in the family of being riddled with bugs and poor optimising, afaik (I haven't played any of the earlier Cities-games, mind). I suppose there'll be bugs in the beginning, since this is the age of releasing buggy stuff and fixing it as soon as they can get around to it. I'm super thrilled over Cities XXL coming out really soon, and I'll probably buy it, since I liked Cities XL Platinum, and here's hoping its multi-core support won't be a hot air balloon.
